These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Verso AI ("Verso," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, PowerPoint add-in, and web application (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Verso Does

Verso is an AI-powered platform that generates and edits PowerPoint presentations. It is available as a Microsoft PowerPoint add-in and as a web application at get-verso.ai.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. What You Can Do

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the Service;
  • Use the Service to build a competing product;
  • Circumvent security or rate limits;
  • Upload illegal or infringing content;
  • Use bots or scrapers (except through APIs we provide).

4. Your Content

You own everything you upload or create through the Service. We only use your content to operate the Service — we do not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

5. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate content. You should know that:

  • Output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing it before use.
  • Output may not be unique. Similar prompts can produce similar results for different users.
  • You may use the output for any lawful purpose. We do not claim ownership of it.

6. Payment and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically. You can cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service — including software, design, branding, and documentation — belong to Verso. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that output will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verso is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or data). Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Verso harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris. If you are a consumer in the EU, your local consumer protection rights still apply.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify you at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
